I got hold of an old iPhone today, and the camera setup worked
instantly! If anyone else is having the same issue, try setting up the

I’ve tried downloading and installing older versions of the Home app and
going through the setup process again. Unfortunately, the same error
keeps popping up. I was really hoping this workaround would do the

The qr code shows on the nest hub. But the setup page in the home app
doesn't allow me to scan the code. The page only shows a spinning icon.
And after a while it says "Something went wrong. Try again."
