You will not need to add the phone to your nest thermostat, simply download the Google home app and log into it using the original account the thermostat was setup on and it will appear.

@D14, in addition to what was mentioned by Ashepherdson, if you're signed in with your email account associated with your thermostat but it still doesn't show on it, check for other available structures where it is connected.

@thomasx, I appreciate you posting your inquiry here on this thread, but Google Nest devices are only compatible with the Nest app and the Google Home app. Linking it to a third-party app may or may not work. Try reaching out to the developer and see if it's possible.
