Adjust balance on Citation 500

Sveander

I can not control balance in Google Home with 2 paired (in stereo) Citation 500 after reconnecting and factory reset.

Before i could press on paired speakers in app and hit the balance botton and ajust.

I still can hit the botton but no glider for balance apears.

Hi @Sveander,

Thank you for contacting this community support team! regarding the balance control issue with your paired Harman Kardon Citation 500 speakers in Google Home. We understand your frustration after performing a factory reset and reconnecting your speakers, as you've lost the ability to adjust the balance despite the balance button still being available.

We recognize that the balance slider is not appearing as it did before, which is certainly not the intended behavior. I'd like to ask you a few more questions about this concern. I'm here to help!

  • When did the issue start?
  • Do you see any error code?
  • Have you tried using the Google Home app on a different mobile device to see if the balance slider appears?
  • What operating system (Android or iOS) and version is your mobile device running?
  • What version of the Google Home app are you currently using?

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.

Best regards,

Eduardo

Thank for your concern.

I have experienced the problems randomly the last 2 years. But before the botton just disapear and would appear next time i tried.

After reconnect 2 weeks ago i never see the slider. But the botton (setting for eq) is there.

I have same problem both on samsung s22 and my Samsung notebook A10.

Google Home is 3.30.1.5

Android 14 .
