Adt control app

Everything was fine with the ADT control app until one day I accidentally deleted the app. When I reinstalled it and tried to put in my user name and password it wouldn't let me get in. 

So I tried to reset my password by clicking on "forgot password ", and it said go to your email for the link. I did but the link never comes to my email. 

What could be the problem?
