The nest app is not sending me an email (not to any folder and not blocked) to reset my password.

Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I’m sorry to hear that the Nest app isn’t sending the email to reset your password. I’m happy to assist you!

I appreciate you have checked in the folder and made sure that your email account isn’t blocking the emails. To better assist you, I’d like to ask the following:

  • Is your Nest account already migrated to Google?
  • When was the last time you got access to the Nest account?

In the meantime, I'd suggest checking the following steps:

  • Check if adding the “account@nest.com” to your allowlist helps to receive the reset email. Sometimes email domains may have an anti-spam feature that could block legitimate emails from Nest inadvertently.
  • Try logging into your Nest account on a web browser. This might provide a different method for receiving the verification code.
