Google Home App not adding devices

My Google home app won't add any devices.  I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.  I've deleted my "Home" and recreated it.  I click on "+ Add Device" - "Google Nest Partner Device" - [My Home] - Wifi - Google Wifi (or Nest Wifi or Nest Wifi Router--it doesn't matter.  Nothing works.)  Whatever I try, it just says "Looking for Devices" then bounces me out, back to the beginning.  No message, no error, nothing.

At the time, the Google Home app is only available for download on Android, iPhone, and iPad.

• What model of Google router do you have?
• What color is the LED light on the devices?
• Did you perform the factory reset on the devices before?

• Factory reset your WiFi device.
• Set up Google WiFi
