AskHome not available in Google Home app on iOS

Hi I have a Nest Aware Plus subscription purchased through ADT.  Since then Google launched Google Home Premium Advanced.  However, I don't have the AskHome feature in my Google Home app.   I get "AskHome is not available" in your home.  This is confusing.  Do ADT customers NOT have access to all Gemini features?

Hi I cannot get the Ask Home functionality to work in Google Home.  Everything else works fine.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled, logged out/logged in, checked Google Home on browser, and nothing.  Screenshot of error is attached.askhome.png

To isolate and understand better the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

  • Are you using the email address associated with the subscription in the Google Home app?
  • Do you know if your subscription is correctly applied in the home structure that you want? To check this, follow these steps:
  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. In the top right corner, tap on your profile picture.
  3. Go to home settings (scroll down once you’re there)
  4. Go to subscriptions (tap on Google Home Premium)
  5. Check if you see any subscription.

Yes I use the right email for the subscription and it says in Subscription “Google Nest Aware Plus”.

Since your account confirms that you have a subscription, the reason you're seeing the 'AskHome is not available' message is likely because the Gemini for Home features are currently in an early access phase and need to be manually enabled.

Please try to: Request early access to Gemini for the Home voice assistant.

In case this does not work, we’d really appreciate it if you could submit your feedback to improve our features.

I've had Public Preview turned on, but you can see that I don't have a way to "Request Early Access".  I do beleive that Google Home AI is available on all my Nest Hubs in the house as we are able to have advanced conversations with them.

This option, “Ask Home," is automatically rolling out to every user. Please keep an eye on your notifications, as the app will alert you as soon as the feature is ready for your account. We would love to hear your feedback on the process in the meantime.
