A few questions:

• When did it start happening?
• What Chromecast device do you have?
• What message are you seeing on your TV screen?
• Can you see any LED on your Chromecast? If so, what is it? Is it solid or blinking?

Make sure your Chromecast is plugged in correctly into the TV and power source? Your TV should be tuned to the same HDMI input where the Chromecast is plugged in? Try plugging it to a different HDMI or a different TV.
