I bought the TUO Temperature Sensor (a Matter over Thread device) and while it works in Google Home, it only reports temperature in Celsius. There is no option to change the units displayed in the Google Home app. It does not sync with my weather preferences on my Google account. This is quite annoying because I live in the US and my thermostats are all in Fahrenheit. I connected the same sensor to Alexa via multi-admin and that platform converts the reading to F.
Google, please add a customization option to be able to show temperature sensor readings in whichever scale the user prefers.
