Cannot connect thermostat to NEST app

I cannot connect NEST thermostat to my NEST app. I checked WI-FI connection and restarted the thermostat a few times but still doesn’t work. I have 3 other thermostats all connected to the app but not the one in the Living room. Please help!

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Let's check why you can't connect your Nest Thermostat to your Nest app. 

 

A few questions: are you using a regular Google Account? Are you connecting it to a private home network? Also, did you receive any message when connecting it to your network? 

 

Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router. Try reinstalling your Nest App. Give rebooting your devices, phone and router a try to refresh the connection.

Hi.

 

I tried all of this, including trying to use my phones hotspot as a different wifi, I reset the Nest settings 3 times as well.  The App works fine with my other Nest Thermostat.

I've read other posts where people tried everything but the final solution was a replacement from Google
