Hello,
I recently purchased a new Chromecast with Google TV, and had so much difficulty in setting it up (everytime I finished, it said error and suggested a factory reset; I thought it would stay on that endless cycle) that I almost concluded the product was faulty and was going to send it back. However, I finally succeeded in the setup in a different room, and then simply brought the device back to the original room where casting and youtube streaming has worked fine. However, now when I try to add/download more apps like Pandora or iHeart Radio, it always pops up an "item not found" window, with a try again button. The account being used is a managed account, and I have gone into the system with super admin privileges to ensure there were no permission settings preventing the download. I couldn't find any, and I have completed other troubleshooting steps, such as restarting the device several times.
Is there anything I might be missing, or is the app no longer available? Or is my original suspicion correct, and I have a faulty device?
Thanks!

Hi cowboy1776,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you recently bought your Chromecast with Google TV (4K) but it was difficult for you to set up, and you've had trouble installing the apps. I'm happy to assist you! I have a question just to confirm: does the error when installing apps appear only with the apps you mentioned above, or with all apps?
I will be awaiting your response.
Regards,
Manuel

Hello,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, this is taking place with all apps, not just Pandora.
Thanks!
