Control who can add/remove devices in my Home

KV1

Is there a way to restrict certain members of my Household from adding/removing devices in my Home?

My family members, including 2 children, are configured as members of my Household.  I recently received a notification that a device was removed from my household by my son, however he doesn't know what he did to remove it.

I'd like to prevent accidental modifications to my Home settings, while still allowing Household members to use the features (e.g. control lights, etc.)

Unfortunately, Google Nest has set it up so that all household members have full access:

Thanks.  I saw it.  Short answer is that there's no way to achieve what I would like to do.  Perhaps Google will consider an enhancement request and support some form of role-based access.

Hey KV1,

We can definitely pass your comments along to our internal teams in the form of a feature request. I'll go ahead and do that for you. I understand why that would be useful for you to have more options controlling things. Aside from passing that feedback along, is there anything else you might need?

Thanks,
Jeff
