Hello @terraveo,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you are having a connectivity issue where your Daikin AC units are showing as disconnected in the Google Home app, and attempts to relink the Daikin One service are unsuccessful. Let's work together for a solution.

When a partner service like Daikin One Skyport fails to link or stay connected, the issue is typically a mismatch or a temporary authentication failure between the two service providers (Google and Daikin), rather than a problem with your Wi-Fi or local devices.

We need to perform a precise unlink and relink procedure to force a fresh authentication token between your Google Home account and your Daikin One account.

Step 1: Unlink the Daikin Service

Before attempting to relink, we must fully remove the old, corrupted link.

  • Open the Google Home app on your phone.
  • Tap on your profile picture (or initial) in the top-right corner.
  • Select Assistant settings (or Settings).
  • Navigate to Devices—Works with Google (or Services).
  • Find the Daikin One Skyport service in the list.
  • Tap on the service and select Unlink account (or Remove service).
  • Confirm the unlink.

Step 2: Verify Daikin App Status

Ensure that your Daikin AC units are still operating correctly within their native application.

  • Open the Daikin One Skyport app.
  • Verify that you can see and control your AC units within the Daikin app itself. (If they are offline here, the issue is with your Daikin cloud connection, not Google Home.)

Step 3: Relink the Daikin Service (The Fresh Connection)

Now, initiate the link again from the Google Home side.

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap the + (Add) button in the top-left corner.
  • Select Set up device.
  • Choose Works with Google.
  • Search for Daikin One Skyport and tap on it.
  • You will be redirected to the Daikin login page. Enter your Daikin One Skyport credentials carefully.
  • Grant the necessary permissions to Google Home.

Please try this specific unlink/relink sequence and let me know at which step (if any) you encounter an error.

Regards,

Kevin

Kevin,

I successfully unlinked the service from Google Home but upon trying to add it I am getting the same error message Google Home error

Experiencing the same issue. So far I have

  • Unlinked each thermostat from my Daikin cloud account and added it back in
  • Changed the password on my skyport home app
  • Unlinked daikin from google, but cannot relink
  • Confirmed that I have full control of the service in the daikin (skyport home app)

Something clearly broke recently, can't figure out what.

Add me to the list. Each time I try and add the device back, I get "Something went wrong, Try again".

I am receiving a message that the Daikin app was successfuly linked, but the devices do not show up. I do not have the option to unlink the devices / app from my Google Home account.

I received this reply when I contacted Daikin One support:

Thank you for contacting SkyportHome Thermostat support.

There is an outage with the Daikin One skill in the Google Home app right now but there is a work around if you follow the steps below.

1. Open the Google Home app and select the "+" button
2. Select "Link app or service"
3. Select "Works with Google"
4. Search "Amana Home" and select to enable that skill
5. If it asks you to log in just enter your Daikin log in information

I didn't expect Studymoose to be so helpful. Everything is convenient and fast: you search for a topic, and ready-made examples are right there at http://essays.studymoose.com. The service really saves time, plus the materials are high-quality and well-structured. I now almost always use it before writing assignments, and studying has become much easier. I'm very satisfied!
