Geeni Account will not connect to Google Home

I seem to be having issues with connecting my Geeni account to Google Home. 

I can no longer control the lights from the Home app, yet it shows online in the Geeni app.  

 I am not sure when this issue began, but noticed it soon after I subscribed to Public Preview. 

Then Unsubscribed to it to see if it would fix the issue. Same problem. No change. 

Before when connected to the Geeni app and before unlinking.  I noticed that The connection in the Home app would continuously show that it was online and connected and then intermittently lose connection while remaining online in the Geeni app. This tells me there is something wrong with a recent Home update. 

I will try link again, but I am afraid that the lights are no longer working on the Home app even when they do connect, it suddenly says something went wrong.

I always found that the integration between google home and Geeni not to be the most stable. At least once a week Google assistant would tell me "Unable to reach Geeni"

I ended up moving over to the Tuya life app to install my Geeni products and haven't had any connection problems with it. If you want to go this route, be aware that the automatic setup of Geeni products on Tuya life doesn't seam to work, You'll have to choose manual setup.
