Geofence error present for multiple weeks

Hi everyone,

I have multiple Nest and Hue devices at home and several Home routines that depend on voice commands, time schedules, and home presence. I designed them all using the Home web version.

While the voice and time driven automations all work, I am encountering a presence detection error for multiple weeks now. Without me having changed anything, Home suddenly did not detect me entering or leaving my home area. When I check the app, it says "Geofence Error" without further explanation as to what error occurred.

I tried restarting devices and the app, deleting caches, resetting location settings but none of them fixed my prolem. As for my current situation, I always have to manually select in the app that I am either home or away.

 

Any hints, experiences or information about this? Thanks in advance.
