Hello,
I had to factory reset my network. Now my Home app will not locate some of my devices. I was able (after not kidding you min 20 tries each) to get the Google Wi-Fi router, a Nest Hub, and Nest Hub Max set up.
Now I cannot get the app to connect to my Google Wifi to create the mesh. The app sends me in circles.
I have followed all of the steps in the recommendations in the help section, but in essence this is what happens in the app:
Add device > New device > choose home > Looking for devices > What are you setting up > Wifi > What are you setting up > Google Wifi > Plug in… Next >
then kicked back to “What are you setting up > Wifi > What are you setting up > Google Wifi > Plug in… Next” over and over again.
I’ve never had this problem before. Again tried all recommended troubleshooting to no avail.
My husband and I work from home and need our mesh to work!
Thoughts?

Hi RP18,
This certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s further look into it. Does your Google Wifi mesh broadcast the setup Service Set IDentifier (SSID) or network name located at the bottom of the device? What's the color of the light showing on the Google Wifi mesh? Is its distance between 20 to 25 feet (6 to 7 meters) from the main Google Wifi router?
Try these steps:
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Alex

Thank you! I was able to figure out my problem. My Google WiFi button wasn't obvious, so I wasn't holding it down while plugging it back in.
What a hassle, but it's done now!
Thanks for taking the time to respond,
Rebekah
