I feel like I have read books on this subject and know as much as I did before I started. It seems to me that the root cause is not known and everyone tries first principles in the hope of solving the issue. Surely someone at Google can share the root cause. There are 10000s of posts on the subject, and the logs must provide an insight.
Unlinking, removing devices, waiting 24 hours, factory resets, and standing on one leg. Oh please. Computers are logical. Such that the logic works or fails. If it fails, we need to understand the cause. It can't be years of trial and error, a process of elimination.
Does anyone have any evidence-based information they can share that will help resolve this issue?
