Google Home app all devices show loading or sometimes offline for long period of time

starting 2 days ago any device i have in the Google Home app would show "loading" for an extremely long amount of time before showing fine. sometimes they would say offline as well.. there is absolutely nothing wrong with my wifi network, ISP, or internet connection.  I can get to the devices using their manufacturer's app perfeclty fine and the devices are online immediately and responding. so this is an issue with Google and the Home app. again everything has been fine forever and suddenly something has changed on Google's side, like developers changing code , i dunno 😞 , but it is very frustrating.  To top that i called google support as at 1 point i tried to reload the Google Home app and could not get logged back in, was telling me a generic error about connection which was not true as i mentioned. eventually it just started working but i'm back to the point of devices showing loading status or offline , if i wait 3 to 5 mins they change status and work.. Google please fix this !! again nothing has change in my environment.. on a side note something else that is happening i cannot access shoppinglist.google.com from my iphone !! this started at the same time as the Google Home app issues !!   well sometimes i can get into the shopping list then other times is waits and waits and says could not connect to sever.. BUT whenver that happens i can walk over to my PC web browser and access shoppinglist.google.com fine no issues, but Google guess what people like to be able to use their shopping list WHEN they GO shopping..  again i think the 2 issues are related and there is some huge foul up at Google by their developers, i mean what are the chances that the Google Home app and shoppinglist.google.com would have issues at the same time and be very close to similar issues of not loading stuff or being able to log in

Also when i try to go to Help in the Google Home app i just get a spinning circle changing colors, i was at least able to go to help and get a phone call from google suppor the other day when this first started happening. the issue seems to go away 10% of the time , so if i open the google home app (or try and access the shopping list from iphone browser) about 9 out of 10 times i have the issue the other 1 time it works :(. this is so insane

So it was my iPhone , I had put PIA private internet app on long ago , never used then suddenly and mysteriously the PIA vpn got connected on phone , I deleted the app and deleted the vpn setup in setting on iPhone now all google apps work fine . What was confusing is that NO other app was having issues 😕  so I was blaming google apps that was very misleading not sure why only google based apps and sites were having intermittent issues
