Need to find out how to delete non-existent devices from Google Home app. Can't figure it out. Shouldn't be this hard. Tried to upload an image, but apparently I'm not cool enough.
Trying to add Eufy Security to Home app. Won't add. Keep getting "invalid URL" or something similar. Any help?

Hi @dalewebb1,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're having difficulty deleting non-existent devices from your Google Home app and are also encountering an "invalid URL" error when trying to add your Eufy Security system. We are sorry that this process has not been so easy for you to remove the devices. Let's work through these issues together.
It can definitely be concerning when old devices appear to linger in your app. Here's the typical process for removing devices, which should help with those non-existent ones:
Open the Google Home app.
Find the device: On the main screen, scroll through your list of devices. If the device you want to remove appears as a tile, tap on it.
Access device settings:
Once you've tapped the device tile, look for a gear icon or settings icon in the top right corner of that device's control screen. Tap this icon.
If the device is part of a third-party service (like a specific brand of smart lights or plugs), you might need to unlink the entire service. To do this, go back to the main Google Home app screen, tap Settings (the gear icon on the main screen), then scroll down and tap "Works with Google." Find the service associated with the non-existent device and tap "Unlink." This will remove all associated devices from that particular service.
Remove or unlink the device: On the device settings page, scroll down. You should see an option such as "Remove device," "Delete device," or "Unlink [Partner Name]." Tap this option.
Confirm removal: The app will usually ask you to confirm that you want to remove the device.
The "invalid URL" error typically indicates an issue during the process where Google Home tries to authenticate and connect with Eufy's online services. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to resolve this:
Ensure Both Apps Are Up-to-Date:
First, make sure both your Google Home app and your Eufy Security app are updated to their latest versions from your phone's app store. Outdated apps can sometimes cause integration problems.
Verify Your Eufy Account Credentials:
Carefully double-check that you are entering the correct email address and password for your Eufy Security account when the Google Home app prompts you to log in. A small typo can cause this error.
As a test, try logging into your Eufy Security app directly to confirm that your credentials are valid and working correctly there.
Check Eufy Server Status:
While less common, an "invalid URL" error can sometimes happen if Eufy's servers are experiencing temporary outages or maintenance.
Attempt Linking Directly from the Google Home App:
Open the Google Home app.
Tap the '+' icon (Add) in the top left corner.
Tap "Set up device."
Under the "Works with Google" section, tap "Have something already set up?"
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find and select "Eufy Security."
This action should redirect you to Eufy's official login page within the app. Carefully enter your Eufy credentials as requested.
I hope these steps help you get your Google Home app organized and successfully connect your Eufy Security system! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Kevin

Baffled a bit. When I UNLINK Smart Life, obviously all the tiles on Google Home disappear, so I can't use your instructions to delete the tile. Unwanted entries are deleted from Smart Life, but they reappear in Home when I RE-LINK.
I tried the Eufy again. Went through the Eufy login process (as I have a dozen times before); got this error (again).
Invalid Link
eufy can't open the page because
the link is invalid. OK?
I THINK it must be Eufy, the interweb has no answers.
