Google Home not finding Honeywell TCC App

Until yesterday, I could control my Honeywell thermostat in Google Home.  Then it started showing off-line.  I have restarted the router, restarted the thermostat, restarted my Android devices, disconnected and re-connected the thermostat to the WiFi.  I deleted the app to start over, but now I just get an error message, "Cannot reach Honeywell Total Connect Comfort.  Please try again."

What can else can I try?

Same issue tried unlinking and setting up but won’t connect

Please provide me with the following: is the Honeywell Thermostat still working in your Honeywell app? Aside from Honeywell, are you having any trouble with other third-party devices? What Google Home app version are you using? 

The details above are necessary for us to be able to look into this issue closely. We'd also appreciate it if you could send us feedback in the Google Home app using the steps on this website

I am not having problems with any other 3rd party app, my Honeywell app is working outside of Google Home, and I am using version 2.53.1.5

Hey RosieMom,

If you haven't already, uninstall and reinstall the Google Home and Honeywell apps before trying to link your Honeywell account. You may also use another phone or tablet to connect Honeywell and see if that works.

Hi Lovely,

I have to re-add the two Honeywell thermostats to Google home since I initially installed them.  Since this was posted, after five or six initial attempts to add them back, it finally worked.  So far they have been holding for a few days, but until they hold for an extended duration I'm reluctant to call the issue resolved.
