Google Home unable to connect to Big Ass Fans (Haiku Fan)

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to connect my Haiku fan to my Google Home app. I have the wifi module installed in the fan and previously it was connected to google home and working just fine. Just last night my Google Nest wifi point said that it was unable to reach my fan so I unlinked the account and tried to link it back again, but to no avail.

Every time I try to authorise the Google home app for Big Ass Fans, I get an error message that says "Could not reach Big Ass Fans. Please try again." I have already contacted Google CS and they tried their best to help me out but it doesn't work. The Google person told me perhaps the problem is with Big Ass Fans.

Just wondering if anyone is facing the same issue and whether or not you have been able to solve it.

heard from BAF that their cloud server is down.  supposed to be back up at some time today.

Got a response from Big Ass...

Thank you for being patient with us, our server maintenance has ended and the mobile app and Amazon Alexa services are fully restored. Google Home is currently offline until the recent update is approved by Google. We do not have a firm timeline from Google but expect the service to be restored in the next 24 to 48 hours.
