Google Home app keeps on displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit eventhough I have set it to Celcius in the settings(settings-Google assistant-weather), what's going on?

It's still in Early Access so there's a lot of things that are wrong or missing when compared to the previous version.

It's been this way for ages unfortunately.

Since October 1 when it started rolling out?

It's a minor bug, but I would rather see them complete the the transfer of Automation triggers and actions  from the old version first.

No, ages, years.

Hello @Arathonk

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I understand that the Google Home app keeps on displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit despite being set to Celsius in the Google Assistant weather settings. I’m here to help you.

Thanks for jumping in, @SmartHomeH-TAGS.

In order to gather further details and determine the optimal resolution, please answer the following questions.

  • What version of the Google Home app are you using?
  • Are you on the Public Preview version of the Google Home app?
  • Do you have any Google displays or speakers in your home? If so, when you say, "Hey Google, what's the weather?" does the device also display or respond with the incorrect weather unit?
  • Do you have any third-party devices connected to the Google Home app (for example, a fan)? If so, was the weather unit correctly configured within its native application?

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Daniel
