Google thinks my device is set to Celsius

Google home thinks my midea ac operates in Celsius though neither the AC nor Google Home are set to operate that way. Because of this I cannot automate temperature setting. How can I fix this?

Thanks for posting in the community page. I understand that your Google Home thinks your Midea AC operates in Celsius even though you haven't set it to work in that way, which is preventing you from automating temperature settings. No worries, let's work together to get this resolved. to help with that, I have a few questions: 

  • Can you tell me if you're having the issue with the Google Home app or with a Google Nest device? If it's with a Google Nest device, please tell me which Google Nest device you have.
  • Can you confirm the language and region settings in your Google Home app and on your Google Nest device are correct?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
