I have a Levoit humidifier in my bedroom that I can control with the VeSync app and is connected to my 2.4Ghz home network.
I did an update this morning and noticed that I’m supposed to be able to control it with the Google Home app but I can’t seem to find a way to get it to connect to Google Home. It is not a Nest device.
can anyone please help?

@Rob905were you able to figure this out? I just purchased a Levoit 3000s but am having issues adding it. It fails during pairing when “connecting to the VeSync Cloud”

I have up on connecting it and just use the app on my phone.

Hi folks,
Thanks for posting and apologies for the late response. Please follow the steps below on how to link your Vesync account.
1. Make sure that you have Vesync native app set up already and the humidifier is controllable on the app.
2. Open the Google Home app
3. Tap the gear icon settings
4. Scroll down and look for works with Google
5. Use the search icon and look for Vesync
6. Link your account
Once linked, you can check out this link for more info on how to use voice commands for your humidifier.
@ghostchili, try using a different mobile phone to link it.
@Rob905, we know it's late but I hope you can try again.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Nikki

@MlabradorMy problem is that the VeSync app won't connect to the humidifier. Per the steps you laid out above, the issue is on Step 1. "Make sure that you have Vesync native app set up already and the humidifier is controllable on the app."
I am fairly confident this is due to my Google Nest router/wifi system. I have downloaded the app onto both an iPhone and a Pixel, and neither app is able to connect to the humidifier. The humidifier is able in pairing mode, the phones are able to connect to the humidifier, but the humidifier is unable to connect to the VeSync cloud.

Hi ghostchili,
Thanks for clarifying. For us to isolate more of the issue if this is network related, we can try setting up the device using a hotspot. You will be needing two mobile devices, one as the set up and the other one as the router. Once devices are connected to the hotspot, try linking the devices again.
Best,
Nikki
