My apartment building shares one internet connection for multiple apartments. When I open my Home app, I can see the other TV and what are they playing. Someone linked my their account to my TV and turning it on in the middle of the night. How do I remove them

Any device connected to the same Wi-Fi network can see and control the media being casted to it. This is by design and working as intended. Rest assured your account is not linked to their TV, but you are seeing the TV in your Home app because you're connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You should notice it is listed under a heading called "Local devices" which means you did not set it up, but that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

I understand. When I click on my TV in the app and go to sharing and linked accounts, it shows my google account and under other(s) account it shows another person. It does not allow me to unlink that person, but it seems like it that person is turning my TV on in the middle of the night.

Did you buy the TV as new or did it have a previous owner?

It had a previous owner. Anyway, I restarted the TV, put it back to factory settings and set it up again. It looks like it solved the problem.

That makes sense, sounds like the previous owner didn't remove their account or factory reset it before selling it.
