Is there a way to control smarthome device through google assistant only in single location?

Hi,

I'm not sure this issue category is right one but I think it is right since this is related with account somewhat.

I have 2 locations under my account. These 2 locations are separated homes and each home has it's own smarthome devices. Let's say home A and B. and each home has google nest hub x 4 and google home mini x3.

My problem is that if I call "Hey google" to control smarthome device through google nest hub or mini at home A, it control smarthome device in home B as well.  Can I isolate these two locations to not to be controlled by the google home mini or nest hub in other home?

Hi unisist,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. If the devices are named identically to both homes you can change the name of the devices for each home to different ones so when you control them each device has its own name. Another solution is to set up the other home using a different Google account.

Check this link.

Change device names in the Google Home app

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks
