Lost all my devices from Google Home and Smart Life

A few days ago, I went to set up a timer on a socket of my strip, something I've done before. When all was said and done, smart home had no devices in it and Google Home had seen all my smart life devices disconnected. I can't figure out how to get them back. I can't even pair them with smart life from scratch. In every attempt, the pairing just doesn't happen. I have sockets, a strip, and a bulb. My google devices (Nest, speakers) work fine. Can someone help me get them back? I've tried talking to tuya without success.

Some facts. The devices were in Google Home when I first opened it on the fateful day of Dec 26. I can't remember all the steps I took.  I opened the strip socket to set the timer, but I only saw an on-off switch. I wasn't sure if that was a change from the past or if I just didn't remember how to set the timer. I can't remember what I saw in the smart life app when this started. I was told, maybe when I opened smart life, that there was an update. I don't remember at what point I updated the app. All I know is this. At exactly 2:16, the devices disconnected from Google Home. I know because Google Home kept a record of it that I can still see. When I open smart life, it says I have no devices. Now I know it was saying that even before the devices got disconnected from Google Home. This seemed strange.

I have searched the internet for answers. I saw a post here from jamesbo13 on a somewhat different issue that suggested that a solution to that problem could be had that would reinstate devices on the smart life website that are not being seen in one's smart life app. Sounded like it might also solve my problem, so I tried it. But it didn't help.

I'm willing to start from scratch and add my devices as if I just bought them, but they won't pair in smart life. It never sees them. I'm at my wit's end. A friend of mine suggested that the problem may be that the firmware of the devices is incompatible with smart life. All at once? Well, I did just update it. But these devices were bought at different times in different years. Why all of them?

So what do I do? Just buy all new devices and hope they work? Is Google Home so dependent upon such a single 3rd party app?

Please help me if you can. I'm not sure if I posted this in the right place.

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

This definitely sounds like a frustrating experience but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hi. I have been away for over a week so I have not been able to deal with this issue or even reply here. I still need help. I have no idea how to fix my problem. Can anyone suggest anything? Or answer any of my questions?

I don't understand what you are asking me to answer. The only question above that I see is: Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

My post itself describes what I tried, which is to try and re-pair my devices with smart life. What else could I try? I was hoping for ideas and I've gotten none here so far. I also asked if one has to use smart life in order to pair a socket, say, with Google Home.
