Nest Cam with floodlight

Why is this product not available on the nest app? I want to be able to see all the cameras at once. So now they are on two different apps. If it is a nest product it should work in the nest app. Why is this not available?

I agree that this should be looked into by Google.  I just bought the Nest Camera Outdoor Battery and its only available in the Google Home app.  In general this is fine but there are significantly less features.  I want to tell the new camera what times to turn on and off but can't in the Home app yet.

Unfortunately, the new Google Nest cameras released in the last couple of months cannot be accessed from the Google Nest app or from the home.nest.com website via your browser, but only from the Google Home app.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. I wanted one app for all my devices. Returning all my nest and looking at other brands. Did the same thing with BOSE. Keep it simple....
