Nest Home speaker groups problem

I've had this problem for a long time with my set up and I have recently deleted my home, factory reset my devices and started a new home.

I have a speaker group called downstairs, when I ask any device to play xxxx downstairs, google will respond, "Do you want to play that on downstairs or downstairs". I say downstairs then google says, sorry something went wrong.

I started a new household today, Added the first speaker, made a group, asked to play on the downstairs group, all was fine. As soon as I add another speaker to the group, I get the same problem again.

If I change the group name from downstairs to something else, it will work but it still thinks there is a downstrairs group or device that will say "sorry something went wrong"
