Hi Thut,

Thank you for posting in the community.

I understand that your Nest x Yale Lock is showing an 'Offline' status and you're looking for an update. I realize how important it is to keep your home secure, and I'm ready to assist.

To get started, please provide a bit more information by answering the following questions:

  • When did this issue first start?
  • Are you using a Nest Connect to link your lock to the Wi-Fi network? If so, is the Connect showing as online in the app?
  • If you are using a Nest Connect, how far is it from your Wi-Fi router?
  • Are there any obstructions (walls, mirrors, microwaves, or Bluetooth devices) between the Nest Connect and the router?
  • Do you have more than one Nest x Yale Lock? If so, how many Nest Connects do you have, and are they all online?
  • How far is the lock from the Nest Connect?
  • Are there any obstructions between the Nest Connect and the lock?
  • Are any other devices in your home experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues?

In the meantime, I recommend performing the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check your Nest app version and update if necessary:
    • For Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Nest.
    • For iOS: Go to Settings > Nest. The version will be listed at the bottom.
    • Note: If you aren't on the latest version, please update via the App Store or Google Play Store, or try reinstalling the app.
  2. Check the battery level: * If the battery level is low, please replace all batteries with fresh AA alkaline batteries.

Please reply with these details so we can find a solution for you.

Best regards,

Virna
