Nest and Google Home

I recently installed Nest Thermostat and Protect. Did this on the Nest app using a Google login (I have only one Google account).
I want to manage this all through my Google home app so don’t have to keep switching between apps for my devices. I’ve tried linking the nest app to google home but it asks for a nest login. I don’t have a nest login as I used google to sign in to nest. The login option doesn’t allow you to sign in with google and so it’s a vicious circle. I’m stuck.

My devices don’t appear on the google home app. Would appreciate the help.

how can I get my nest devices on my google home app. iOS version latest please.

Unfortunately, given Google Nest's 2-app approach, you cannot manage them in the same app.

Nest Protects ONLY appear in the Google Nest app and NOT in the Google Home app.

The Nest Thermostat E and Nest Learning Thermostat get installed in the Google Nest app and then should AUTOMATICALLY appear in the Google Home app as long as you are logging into both apps with the same Google Account, are accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure" in each app, and ssigned the thermostat to a "room" in the Google Nest app.

The Nest Thermostat gets installed in the Google Home app and does NOT appear in the Google Nest app.

Many customers in this forum have reported that after they installed their thermostats in the Google Nest app, they failed to automatically appear in the Google Home app. Many of these customers were able to get their thermostat to appear in the Google Home app by creating a temporary second "home" in the Google Nest app, and then going to that empty second "home" in the Google Home app and deleting it. Apparently, this forces the 2 apps to sync.
