In the Google Home app, I cannot see the video from the cameras and doorbell I added through the Nest app. When I open Google Home, the cameras are all blurry and totally useless.
I added an additional camera through just the Google Home app and I can see that fine in Google Home, but i now also have to add it to the Nest app if I want to see it there.
Should I be installing through Nest ad not Google Home? And if so, how can I get the video to show through both.
TIA
Additional info: I have since deleted the Nest app and reinstalled it, deleted and re-installed doorbell and the same issue. I even uninstalled and re-installed Google Home.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, but I've never seen a report in this forum about the same camera feeds appearing clearly in the Google Nest app but blurry in the Google Home app. That seems quite odd; you could try deleting and reinstalling your Google Home app. What do your video feeds look like on the home.google.com website?
Regarding your new camera, Google Nest decided that the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app.

So so odd. Google home on the web has clear video. Good to know about the new releases. I moved in Sept 2022 and connected the existing cameras to my account through Nest. But the most recent camera is new. I will try installing in nest because I am stubborn! And I must say attaching the 'security loop' is horrible! Uninstalled and re-installed home and still have blurry video. I may try removing a device and re-installing it but that is such a pain. Thank you for the help

You simply cannot install the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the Google Nest app. We have two, a battery camera and the newer indoor camera.
This is Google Nest's explanation of this 2-app approach, from Sept. 2021 (when we bought our battery camera); we've been using 2 apps ever since:
I have no clue why your older Google Nest cameras' video streams would appear blurry in the Google Home app but clear in the Google Nest app and on the home.google.com website. Maybe it's a quirk between the Google Home app and your particular phone model. Do you have another phone or mobile device where you can try viewing those cameras in the Google Home app?

Unfortunately, I have an older tablet which cannot run Google Home. I will try my laptop, just in case.
I deleted and ten re-installed the Nest doorbell in the Nest app as it will not install in Google Home. I was hoping that would solve the blurry video in Home but it is still the same.
I am at a loss.

You could go back and edit the title of your original post, to say something like "Original Nest cameras are blurry in Home app on xxxxx phone". Perhaps Google Nest has a defect with your phone model.
You could also try contacting Support, starting with this link:
