Presence Sensing Broken

As the subject says the presence sensing does not work as of several weeks ago. Specifically it does not switch back to home. When I leave it works as expected. When  get home the app shows that I am away. but when I go into settings and look at presence sensing it in fact shows that I am at home. I have tried uninstall, clearing the cache, toggling the device that is used for sensing to no avail. I does randomly work on occasion but 99 out of 100 times I have to manually set it to home to trigger the routine.

  • Which specific devices are set to use Presence sensing?
  • For your phone, can you confirm the make, model, and operating system version?
  • Are there multiple people/devices configured for presence sensing in your home?
  • Has anything changed in your home network setup recently?
  • Could you confirm the current app version of your Google Home app?

  • For your phone, can you confirm the make, model, and operating system version? Pixel 9xl latest Android beta
  • Are there multiple people/devices configured for presence sensing in your home? no
  • Has anything changed in your home network setup recently? no
  • Could you confirm the current app version of your Google Home app? 3.35.55.0

Please try the following steps in the Google Home app to check your Presence Sensing settings:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. In the "Home features" section, tap Presence sensing.
  4. You can then turn Allow this home to use phone locations on or off.

Let me know if you were able to check these settings and if it made a difference.
