Google made me transfer all my cameras to the Google Home app except my doorbell. Which is annoying because I now have 2 different apps for my cameras. How do i transfer the doorbell?

@THS

I don't know of any effort by Google to force us to transfer our 1st gen cameras from the Google Nest app to the Google Home app. We have numerous 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells.

The transfer can only occur in the  beta"Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, and we have not signed up for that.

And at this point we're not interested in transferring any of our cameras because there are still numerous Nest app functions that are lacking in the Google Home app:

And besides, we have 3 Google Nest Hello Doorbells and there is no option yet to transfer them to the Google Home app.

This is Google Nest's post on the subject.  This post indicates the transfer is optional; note that you can transfer cameras back to the Google Nest app:

We've been using 2 apps ever since buying a battery camera in Sept. 2021; it's a nuisance.

Hello everyone,

@THS, thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community. I’d like to check if you’re still in need of any help.

As a reminder, you can only migrate to the Google Home app if you’re in the Public preview program and you have a Nest Cam Indoor or Nest Cam Outdoor. You can check out this guide for more details on how to migrate devices to the Google Home app.

Thanks for the help, MplsCustomer.

All the best,

Lance
