Smart Life tap-to-run automations don't appear in Google Home

I linked Smart Life to Google Home but I only see switches, don't see tap-to-run automations.

(And I need tap-to-run automations since the switches don't work see https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Apps-Account/Google-Home-not-recognising-multi-way-switches-a...)

A few things: do you own two gang switches too? What is the make of the switch that you are using? Are you able to control it individually via Google Home app? How about using your voice command? 

You can use the routine feature to control your switches. Check this link for more information.

Juni yes my two gang switches have the same problem. The specific manufacturer is Modan Electronics but as you can see based on other posts everyone with Tuya based switches has this problem. If I create an automation in the smart life app then I can run that from Google home. But I have dozens of switches I'm not going to create separate automation routines to turn on and off each one. Any help will be appreciated by me and many others thanks

Apologies for the delayed response.I’m jumping in to see if you’ve tried the routine feature provided above? If so, how was it? 

Is the tap-to-run automations still not working with Google Home? You can try these steps:

1. Make sure your app is linked to Google Home.
2. Set up a routine.
3. Add action.
4. Scroll to bottom to the custom action section (Try adding your own)
5. Enter the command as "Tap-to-run <tap-to-run name>" or “Activate”.
6. Save!
7. Try the routine you just created.

Yes that works thanks!  So to access Smart Life / Tuya Tap-To-Run I always have to add a Google Home Routine?

Apologies for the delayed response. You got it! Not all will work on routines. Google Home relies heavily on the 3rd party devices, apps and its actions.
