Thermostate unit (F) in google home app

Martin-P
Community Member

The unit of the thermostat suddenly changed to Fahrenheit on Google Home app.

Previously, it was displayed in Celsius and was able to perform voice commands. Right now it's displayed in Fahrenheit in the Google Home app.

The manufacturer's equipment and provided app will continue to display Celsius. Displayed in Fahrenheit only in the Google Home app.

This is not the weather unit. Weather units are displayed in Celsius

Hi Martin-P,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to help.

Please follow these steps to change your Nest Thermostat's temperature unit:

  1. Open the Google Home app then, tap your Nest Thermostat icon.
  2. Go to Settings then, select "Thermostat".
  3. Choose "Display Option" then, select "Temperature Unit"
  4. From there, you can change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Regards,

Jenelyn
