Transferring Nest account to new phone

I just got a new android phone and can't see my nest products on it. It shows two homes listed, which is correct. The homes show up but no cameras, thermostats etc.  Both have many cams and thermostats in them. My wife's phone still shows all of the products. If I try to add a thermostat, it tells me it's already connected. I really don't want to reset and reconnect everything. There's got to be an easier way. Help!

Whivh kind of Android phone did you buy? it depends from that - maybe you should work with your wife to make sure to have the same name of devices and the same version of everything

I went from a Samsung s20 ultra 5g to a Samsung s23 ultra. My wife has an iPhone 12 pro. She got on by me inviting her as a family member through the nest app now google home. We've tried inviting me, it doesn't work.

Joseph5, thanks for reaching out. are you using the Nest App or the Google Home App? Is there a chance that you used a different email to your new phone? Also, is your phone connected to the same network?

 

Try to reinstall the app and observe if it will make a difference. Using another phone will also help isolate this.

Just to let you know, It wouldn't work on either app. I tried removing both apps and reinstalling them. I used the same google email as the old phone and everything is connected to the same wifi. The only way I could make my devices show up on my phone and appropriate apps was to remove the devices, each one individually, and reinstall them. Now I can see them and both google home and the nest apps.
