I was setting up a new phone and accidentally Deleted the House on my Google Nest App. I am no longer able to connect to that house in the app or on the Nest App. Now I am trying to connect my subscription to the new house I created but have have not been successful. Any tips or tricks to do this? My subscription renews in December this year.

Hi there!

Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing with your subscription. I understand that you were setting up a new phone but accidentally deleted the previous home where you had the subscription. Now you already created a new home but are still not able to apply the subscription to this home. No worries, I’m happy to help you find a solution.

In order to better understand the situation, I need some extra information. Here are some steps for you:

  • What type of subscription do you have?
  • Are you using the same account that you were using on the old mobile device?
  • Is your Nest account already migrated to a Google account?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

In the meantime, if your account is already migrated to the Google Home App and if the subscription is a Nest Aware Subscription, you can try the next:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Select the home structure that you want to apply the hanging subscription to.
  • Tap Settings, and under Nest services & support, tap Subscriptions, and then hit on Nest Aware.
  • On the next screen, tap Apply to apply the hanging subscription to the home structure.
  • After you apply the hanging subscription, you are taken to the Nest Aware setup screens where you can finish the Nest Aware features setup.

Please check the following articles: Fix an unused Nest Aware subscription for further information.

Tell me how it goes.

Regards,

Daniel.
