How to remove two devices in Automations Script Editor

Hello!

Ok. We just moved here in DE. Now I have just purchased various smart home systems and I was getting ready to work on the Automations Script Editor. When I select device: below:

- type: device.state.SensorState
state: currentSensorStateData
is:
device: Downstairs - Downstairs

               Upstairs - Upstairs

I was like oh wow... those are Nest Protect from our house in Maryland!

So how can I get rid of those two devices??

Thanks

Hi @Sneakernet,

I appreciate your thorough information and the timely post you made. After reading the input, I understand that you want to get rid of two Nest Protect devices. I'm here to help.

In this case, you must first delete Nest Protect from the app before performing a factory reset. To do this, see this article: Remove a product from your account. You can read this article to learn how to perform the factory data reset: Reset Nest Protect and erase all settings.

Best regards,

Jeremy.
