Unable to use Google Home App on Main Account

Up until a few days ago, I have been using the Home App on my main account without any issues. This is the account i use for Google Photos and YouTube Music subscriptions and i use these with google devices.

Now when I try and use it, I get a message : Connection problem Oops, we're having trouble loading this screen. Please ensure that you are connected to the Internet, and we'll try again.

Other accounts work fine on the same device

I can use the google home website fine.

I have tried:

Resetting the app (clearing data and cache)

Reinstalling the app

Different wifi bands and a mobile connection

Restarting my router

A different device (iPad and old Pixel 3) and the issue follows me (other accounts work fine)

Clear data and cache on Google Play Services, Home App and Google App then restarting the phone

Deleting my account from the Home and reinviting it.

 

I logged a case with Google Support and they advised "Based on our investigation, the issue appears to be related to the configuration of your specific email account. Since email setup falls outside our scope of support, we recommend using an alternative email address to ensure you can access your services without further delay. We appreciate your understanding."

 

I have run out of ideas at this point.
