So, I was finally able to get rid of Gemini by hard restting my app and removing all data for it, and setting up a NEW account! It worked like it was supposed to for a week! Suddenly Google started once again forcing me to get Gemini - which I will continue to refuse because it's pure junk! Now various issues are popping up - random devices being turned on instead of the proper device, automated routines not fully working properly or delayed due to presence sensing issues.
Also, 1 problem STILL exists tho! No matter which device I initiate Ok Google with, now ALL my devices - 2 phones, a tablet and my mini speaker (which are 20 feet away in the bedroom behind closed doors) continue to reply as well as cause each other to cancet each other out! I have complained about this long enough - NOTHING has changed! I have even retrained my voice a dozen times, I set devices to least sensitivity and/or most sensitivity (which nolonger appears to work anyways) but it didn't help.
THIS makes using Google a P.I.T.A.! These problems all started the day you introduced Gemini to us. And from my visits to this forum as well as reddit, and Google play - it appears 9 out of 10 people are experiencing the SAME problems! It appears the Google minispeaker is a problem now - as it replies no matter what device we initiate Ok Google with. As of this week, now phones are just as bad doing the same thing as I already stated above!
So, WHEN is Google going to actually do something to help? They continue to tell us fill out this form, visit this link yada yada yada - they tell us to email the developers but give us broken links! HOW ABOUT JUST FIXING THE ISSUES?
