Hi guys,
I have 3 accounts on my Google Pixel phone, 2 gmail.com and 1 google workspace email. (did not know it was google workspace until now)
My issue is as follows : I am using Google Home with my non gmail.com account as it is linked to all my smart gadgets like Xiaomi Home, Tuya, Daikin, Gosund, etc. and everything works fine but Xiaom devices only sync and connect via the non-gmail.com account using Google Home. (all other devices can be used by the other gmail accounts as well, they are online)
If I try to connect and link the Xiaomi Home devices to the 2 gmail.com accounts on Google Home then all devices become "offline"
My guess is that Xiaomi Home only allows 1 connection and that is used via my non gmail.com account.
Why is this a problem, why does it bother me?
I have just got a Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) and when I added it to my non gmail.com Google Home account (for device controls mainly) then I have found out the Nest Hub does not fully support non gmail.com accounts and therefore Sleep Sensing is disabled for me.
Is there a secure way to disconnect or unpair the Xiaomi Home access/account from my non gmail.com access and then relink/connect to my primary gmail account and add the Nest Hub there for all functions?
What do you suggest, how would you do this? My Nest Hub works fine now but I miss this Sleep Sensing feature to be honest.
Thanks 🙂

Hello, bl4ze.
Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community. We are so happy to assist you with your questions about unlinking devices on the Google Home app.
Thanks for providing all the details about your situation. I understand the frustration you've experienced. To simplify things going forward, I recommend choosing one email account to permanently manage all your smart home devices through the Google Home app and any third-party apps.
Once you've selected that primary account, you'll need to unlink your devices from any third-party apps they're currently connected to. This will prevent issues when you reconnect them later.
If you haven't already, create a home in the Google Home app using your chosen email address. Then, add all your Google devices to that home. For guidance on linking and unlinking third-party devices in the Google Home app, please refer to this article: Connect third-party smart home devices in the Google Home app.
After all your devices are connected to the chosen Gmail account, everything should function smoothly without further problems.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Kevin
