Hi,
I have a Chromecast gen 2 which worked for years. Recentrly I have to move it on another place and another wifi. Now it is impossible to configure it. On my smartphone, the device is recognized, and it gives me the verification code, but on the screen, nothing to do, the code does not appear.
I tried to reset the device, but without success.
Someone has an idea?

To factory reset the device, are you trying these steps using the physical button on the device whilst it's connected to power?

Thanks for your answer. I did the factory reset by pressing the button for around 40 s, as long as it flashes, naturally with the power 😉
