google Home App crash at startup ,Ok button is grey out

I can not start the home App It is version2.48.1.9 and the cell is Android 8.0.0

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Glad to know that somebody care at Google 

 

 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App but I get the same result .I can not use the App to set up my Chomecast ,which I could do a month ago.
 
I can not do anything to accept the condition since the OK button is grey out.
 
I have a Samsung A5 cell .

Apologies, would you mind clarifying what you are meaning? You can uninstall updates from the Google Play Store or the Apple store.

Hello

 

In the Google Home App for Android there is   NO   3 little dot to uninstall update

Would you mind trying these steps please?
 

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Apps. Some phones may have it listed as Apps & Notifications.
  3. Ensure it says All Apps at the top. If not, Tap the drop-down menu and select All Apps.
  4. Tap Google Play Store.
  5. Tap Menu. The 3-vertical-dot button on the Top Right Corner.
  6. Tap Uninstall Updates.
  7. Tap OK.

Please let me know if you're still having issues.

Tryed that : No improvement

Why downgrading Google Play store would help run The Google HOME apps ???????????

When I start the Google Home App , I can NOT agree to the terms and conditions BECAUSE the OK button is GREYOUT.

I could send screenshot of my problem if you could give me a link

Hey there, 
Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing these issues. I would suggest making sure that you select that you have read the terms and conditions before trying to submit or press the ok button. Make sure that you scroll through the terms as well. 

The above may be causing the issues.
