home nest website not refreshing

I'm able to log into the home nest website but nothing is refreshing.  I see the current image from the camera but the blue circle just keeps spinning.  I also can't scroll back in the history view.  I know it is working because I can see history from the app on my phone.   So the cameras are working fine and the video is being uploaded to the cloud.  Is there a setting in Chrome I need to look at?

Hi Nelsons_Revenge,

 

I’m sorry for the trouble accessing your camera on a web browser. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: do you have a Mac or Windows computer? Is your Google Chrome browser up to date? When did the issue start? How far is the camera from the router? Also, have you checked it on a different web browser (Zafari, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc.)? 

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Close and reopen the web browser.
  2. Close other web browsers that are running. 
  3. If you know your Nest account password. Sign out from your Nest account, then sign back in.
  4. Restart your camera. Unplug it from the power outlet for 1 to 2 minutes. Then, plug it back in.
  5. Restart your router. Unplug it from the power outlet for 60 seconds. Then, plug it back in.
