I also have a problem with google home connecting to philips hue. yesterday my daughter deleted the lights after connecting up a camera, i have tried for over 7 hours already to get everything to connect back up. It initially reads as connected at the bottom of the screen , but then goes, something went wrong

I have managed to get the lights working in the Philips hue app and smart things, but i am really struggling to get google home to connect to Philips hue or to smart things!!!

Hi @craig1craig,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble connecting your Philips smart things to the Google Home app. Don’t worry; I’ll help you with this.

If you see the message “Something went wrong”:

  • Signal Strength: Ensure your bulb and speaker or display are no more than 15 feet apart to improve the signal.
  • Home Membership: Verify that you’re a member of the home where the bulb was set up. Ask the home creator to add you if necessary.
  • Device Interference: Interference from nearby devices like Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, microwaves, Bluetooth speakers, or other C by GE bulbs can cause issues. Try moving them further away.
  • Bulb Limit: Each speaker or display can support up to 6 C by GE bulbs.

Please check these points and let me know if the concern persists.

Best regards,

Lusvin.
