Hi
Hope someone can answer/help with this.
I use my phone to cast podcasts and music to speakers. But sometimes the Chromecast "connection" stops when I have paused the podcast/music. And I have to "restart" the casting to the speaker/group again. This is pretty annoying.
So can someone help me with extending the period until it drops the connection?
- or at least tell me how long the period is from pausing podcast/music until the connection is dropped?
Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me
_The speakers are primarily JBL Link Portable and sometimes Wiim streamer
_Yes, it is with all apps (primarily Pocketcast and Poweramp)
-It has been there all the time
-Tried searching for answers - on both how long before the connections drops and if I could make chromecast standard choice for sound or keeping the connection active even when player is paused.
Regards

Hi Rusell
Thanks for keeping it up.
-Model Chromecast - not sure I understand - i use my android phones (OnePLus and Motorola) to cast directly to the speakers - which I guess answers the 3rd questions as well. I only use my Chromecast dongle when I am using my tv
-The speaker groups is divided into 2 "types" one with only JBL Link Portable speakers and one where the JBL speakers and combined with a Wiim Pro Plus streamer

Hi
I do not think I have a Nest Chromecast - the chromecast I have (used on my tv) is a Chromecast dongle (4K).
In the meantime I would really like to know the period from pausing a podcast on my phone until the connection to the JBL speakers is stopped. Keeps the connection for some minutes, but I would very much like to know how many and if I can extend that period.
Thanks

Hi Rusell
So just to be sure - You cannot tell me how long it takes from a player is paused until the Chromecast connection is dropped? Something the speakers has no influence on.
