Since launching Google Home for web, we’ve added camera video history, advanced automation capabilities with script editor, and more to help you seamlessly manage your smart home. We’ve heard your feedback about wanting to be able to do more with your smart home in your browser and we’re excited to share the new Devices tab where you’ll find device controls alongside the Cameras and Automations tabs you may be familiar with.
With this new tab, you’ll find a list of rooms and their devices along with compatible controls. For example, you can get comfortable with temperature controls for Nest Thermostats, adjust your smart lights, or adjust your smart blinds all from your web browser.
To get started:
- Log in to home.google.com with the same account you use in the Google Home app
- Click the Devices tab
- Find the device you want to control and click, slide, or use the on-screen buttons to control your device.
We know you’re eager to control all of your devices so we’re continuing to invest in expanding controls for more device types and will share more information when they’re available. We hope you’ll find this new feature as another way to access helpful and seamless controls across your devices.
