2 home accounts but I want just 1 nest aware account

I recently bought 3 nest outdoor camera and one nest doorbell.

However, similar to other people’s frustrations after setting up 1 camera, google home didnt let me set up another camera or doorbell after this. Hence I had to create two home accounts in the one household.

Now I want to subscribe to nest aware, but I don’t want to subscribe twice for this product as its the same house.

How can I just pay once for nest aware that covers both of our home accounts?

Unfortunately, you have to have a separate Nest Aware subscription for every "Home" you create, however, you really should be addressing your original problem. I have added many devices to the same Home, including 6 Nest Cam Floodlights and Nest Hello, etc. and I never had any issues adding more than one device. This is not normal that you cannot add more than one camera. Something else is wrong.

Thanks for your reply BG. I tried for hours to connect the additional cameras to the original nest account. This was very frustrating. When I read other blogs, many others experienced the same problem

Have you converted your Nest Aware account from Nest to Google, or are you saying that you do not have a Nest Aware account at all? You do not have to have a Nest Aware subscription in order to add cameras, but you do need the Nest Aware subscription in order to store any events older than 3 hours, as well as other features. If you already have a Nest Aware subscription, I would highly recommend migrating it to Google first.

I do not have a nest aware account. I have 2 google home accounts because I couldnt connect the security cameras to the original google home account (except for 1 camera). When I tried connecting the other cameras/door bell I got an error message saying google couldnt find those. It was only when I created a second google home account, google was able to instantly find those remaining cameras/doorbell. I have no idea why google couldn’t find the remaining cameras/doorbell on the original google home account.

Now that I hope one can understand my frustrations, how can I pay for one 1 google aware subscription rather across 2 google home accounts rather than having to pay for 2 subscriptions?

Hmmmm... Don't know why they didn't join the original Home account. I have two home accounts, but didnt have any trouble setting up all on one. All I know is that you have to have one Nest aware subscription per Home setup. So, if you only want one subscription, you are going to have to set them up under one. So, you will have to delete one of the home setups, and stick with the other.
