2 home accounts but I want just 1 nest aware account

I purchased an outdoor camera and an indoor camera but I wasn’t able to connect them both to the same household. The second camera couldn’t be “discovered” once the first camera was connected. This is causing me to have to pay for two Nest Aware subscriptions. How can I resolve this issue?

Hello, I don't think it is possible to have two different homes using the same nest aware account.  I think you have to back up and get both cameras under the same account.  It should work just fine.  I have 5 cams under one account.

Then if you need to give access to other people you use the SHARE function.  Here are some more details on that.

It also seems you may have ended up with two "homes" because you encountered a variation of the "can't connect to assisting device" error that so many customers have reported. Adding a device to a second "home" TEMPORARILY is just one of the workarounds customers have tried. (Google Nest Support says they're still researching the problem.) Once you get your cameras into the same "home", you'll have to contact Google to get your second Nest Aware subscription refunded.

I did the same thing when I was still under the 30 day trial. Here’s how I solved the problem, finally. Delete both homes. (I was still in trial, so it did not affect me.) Take both cameras down. (I have 😎 set them side by side and factory reset them both. Then go through the motions of connecting the first one. Now that you have factory reset them both, the second should hook up to the first, thus being under the same home. I just went ahead and set camera #3 next to camera #1 and connected it. If it came across problem and would not connect, I would factory reset the #3 and try again. I got all 8 connected this way and then installed them.
